Managed IT, Flat Rate

Managed IT billed like a utility, not a surprise

One flat monthly fee covers monitoring, patching, and a help desk that picks up the phone. Every business on our plans gets that same baseline. safemode Fortress adds the security stack that keeps a bad day from becoming a bad year.

Every Plan

The baseline every managed IT client gets

safemode Shield and safemode Fortress start from the same foundation. The difference between them is how deep the security stack goes, covered below.

24/7 monitoring & patch management

Every device is watched around the clock, and updates go out on a schedule instead of piling up until something breaks.

Unlimited remote help desk

Call, email, or message. An engineer picks up the call, not an offshore queue reading from a script.

Managed endpoint protection

Antivirus and endpoint protection on every device, kept current without anyone having to ask.

Hardware lifecycle planning

We track what's aging out and budget for replacements before they fail.

Vendor management

Your internet provider, line-of-business software, and printer company all call us instead of you.

Quarterly vCIO roadmap review

A named vCIO reviews what's working, what's next, and what it costs, every quarter.

Choose Your Plan

Managed IT Packages

Straightforward pricing. No block hours, no surprise invoices. What you see is what you pay.

Both plans run on the same flat-rate model, billed per device on a 36-month agreement. Fortress is the plan we recommend for most businesses. It's where the security layer lives.

Which One's Right for You

Why businesses choose each plan

Why Shield

Shield fits businesses that handle lower-risk data, aren't under a compliance mandate that requires round-the-clock monitoring, and want reliable day-to-day IT without paying for a full security operation they don't yet need. It's also a practical starting point if budget is tight now. You get the same help desk and monitoring baseline, and you can move up to Fortress later once your risk profile or insurance requirements call for it.

Why Fortress

Shield keeps your team running. Fortress is built for businesses that can't afford downtime or a breach. It adds the SOC monitoring, ransomware response, and identity protection that stop an attack instead of just detecting it after the fact. Most of our clients land here.

Insurance & Compliance

Fortress backs your insurance and compliance requirements

Fortress is built around the controls most cyber insurance carriers and frameworks like NIST CSF look for. We provide documentation from these systems for your insurance application or audit, and we'll sign a Business Associate Agreement where required. Full regulatory compliance, HIPAA and PCI DSS included, also depends on your organization's own policies and practices. Our technical controls cover a real part of that requirement, and our documentation supports the rest.

Getting Started

From first call to go-live

Most new clients are fully onboarded within a few weeks. We document your environment as we go, so nothing about how your business runs IT lives only in one person's head.

Onboarding is billed as a single month of your plan's service, not an extra line item on top of it.

What onboarding looks like

  1. 1
    Discovery call

10 minutes to talk through your setup. Then we review your network, security posture, and device count and recommend Shield or Fortress.

  2. 2
    Agreement & device count

Flat-rate pricing confirmed per device, on a 36-month agreement, in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3
    Environment documentation

Every device, login, and vendor gets documented so support never starts from zero.

  4. 4
    Go-live

Monitoring, patching, and the help desk line are active, and your team calls us instead of guessing.

Common Questions

Managed IT questions, answered

What's the actual difference between Shield and Fortress?

Shield is core managed IT: 24/7 help desk, monitoring, patching, antivirus, web filtering, and vulnerability scanning. Fortress adds a full security operation on top: 24/7 SOC monitoring across your endpoints and cloud accounts, active ransomware response, identity and SaaS account monitoring, managed backup, continuous security awareness training, and quarterly business reviews. Compare the full lists above.

How is pricing structured?

Pricing is flat. One monthly number covers monitoring, the help desk, patching, and your plan's security tools, billed per device on a 36-month agreement. Add three devices and the number goes up accordingly. Exact numbers come out of your free assessment.

What counts as a "device"?

A device is a workstation, laptop, or other endpoint we monitor and support. Shared computers and kiosks are billed the same as any other device, and servers are their own line item. All of it gets confirmed and put in writing during your assessment.

How long does onboarding take?

Most businesses are fully onboarded in a few weeks. Larger environments or a migration to Microsoft 365 can run longer. Your assessment gives you a timeline you can plan around.

Which plan is right for us?

If you handle sensitive data, work under a compliance framework like HIPAA or TAC 202, or carry cyber insurance, Fortress is built for that. If your risk is low and your budget is tight, Shield covers the essentials and you can move up later.

Do you work with businesses that already have an internal IT person?

Yes. We can co-manage alongside your internal team, splitting responsibilities so nothing falls through the cracks. Tell us about your setup on the discovery call and we'll figure out the right scope together.

Ready for IT that just works?

Start with a 10-minute call. Tell us what's going on with your IT and we'll tell you straight whether we can help. No pressure, no obligation.

By phone or Teams, on your schedule. If we're a fit, we'll plan the next step together.
